Greenacres industries is a quality endorsed organisation providing employment for over 220 people with a disability through our 2 factories located in the Illawarra.
For over 50 years we have offered our services in assembly and packaging to companies of varying size and complexity.
We specialise in electrical and valve assembly and manufacture.
We are a quality certified organisation under ISO 9001.
Our business is built on strong and honest relationships with our customers, some of whom are large multinational companies.
With the highest qualified training and supervisory staff in business, Greenacres Industries can handle any task big or small. We are accredited under the “National Training Framework”. Our trainers develop task analysis and work instructions on each job we undertake which ensures we get it right first time every time.
Unlike our competitors we are able to transport product to and from any site throughout Sydney to our factories in Wollongong. This service is available on a daily basis Monday to Friday via our own truck fleet.

Greenacres manufactures and distributes the Body Safe range of leak resistant body bags. These bags were developed to meet the increasing demand from the industry for a product that would give a high level of protection from infection. The Body Safe bags are sewn and heat sealed to prevent any leakage. Each bag is delivered individually hermetically sealed in its own polybag; they are widely used in public hospitals, State forensic Departments, and the airline and funeral industry in all States of Australia and in New Zealand. |

GENERAL PACKAGING
| Greenacres Industries offers a variety of general packaging and bagging, including simple heat sealed poly bagging, bagging with header cards, blister packing, clam shelling and shrink wrapping. LABELLING AND BAR-CODING

LIGHT ASSEMBLY AND MANUFACTURING
| Greenacres Industries put together and test Plastic Wheel Assemblies which are a critical component of the aluminum sliding window industry. Our methods and processes ensure that these components work effectively and that they won't be the subject of any warranty issues for our National customer. Another ongoing job is the compilation of various types of first aid kits. Using our specifically designed Task Analysis we accurately assemble a variety of kits ranging from eight to thirty components, at all times guaranteeing accuracy and hygiene. |  |
ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLY
| Greenacres Industries has manufactured a twin fluorescent light for a multi national organization for many years. The organization could have taken this work off-shore but chose to continue to use Greenacres because of their reliability, accuracy and volume produced. We also package a range of down light kits for this customer. Greenacres Industries packages and assembles electrical apparatus for a national manufacturer and distributor of electrical components. |  |
