What is Greenacres Employment Solutions?

Greenacres Employment Solutions is a service that helps people with disabilities find and keep a job in the community.

We are funded by the Federal Government so it costs nothing to use our service.

All of our jobseekers must be approved to access our service, and Centerlink require us inform them of your progress.

What happens when I start with Greenacres Employment Solutions?

You will be assessed over a 4 week period by the Workwise intake officer so we can identify what support is right for you.

You will team up with a Case Manager - this person will decide with you what to do to get ready for a job.

This can include work experiences, training courses, interview skills training, work skills training, etc.

Greenacres Employment Solutions will support you to look for a job that you like and can do

We can help train you to do the job well

Who can use Greenacres Employment Solutions? People who:

  • want to work and need support due to a disability or injury
  • are aged between 15 and 60
  • live between Helensburgh and Kiama
  • are willing to use public transport or have their own transport such as a car.
  • Greenacres offers two programs to help our clients access employment and training programs.

    These are called the Capped and the Uncapped program.

    The Capped Program has a limited number of places and usually supports people who are on the Disability Support Pensions.

    The Uncapped Program is demand driven. This means that if Centerlink refers you to that program you are guaranteed a spot.

    To access any services you need to have a Job Capacity Assessment which is organized for you through Centerlink.
