Ord Place Community Participation, Albion Park
The Ord Place Centre is a service that provides individuals with the skills and training needed to gain independence in their lives and targets people with high to moderate support needs. Training and support programs are based on the individual needs of each person and aim at developing the skills required for enhanced opportunities in the community in which they live.
Service users have a high to moderate support need and attend up to five days per week. The Service provides transport to those individuals living at home with family and unable to use public transport. All service users attending the centre have an Individual Plan completed and active participation on their behalf is encouraged. IP's ensure that all people involved with the person are assisting them to work toward their own goals.
